Bernard Villemot (1911-1989) is regarded as one of the finest post-war French graphic artists. He was known primarily for his iconic advertising images for Orangina, Bally, Perrier and Air France. Greatly influenced by the Bauhaus Villemot had a sharp artistic vision and for a unique ability to distill an advertising message to a memorable image with simple, elegant lines and bold colours.

Bally Orange is one of the most recognisable and famous ads that he produced for the Swiss luxury fashion house established in 1851 by Carl Franz Bally and his brother Fritz. which is historically known for its shoes.

PrintING and Framing

The images are printed on archival museum-quality 260gsm Lustre paper which is a middle ground between Matte & Gloss so the print colours are vibrant but with less glare.
