About the print

Description

Green Door from the Church and Convent of Santo Domingo de Guzmán.

Throughout its history, the Convent of Santo Domingo has been the scene of several important events in the history of Mexico: it was converted into a military warehouse, a stable, closed to Catholic worship in times of Jacobin secularism of the governments emanating from the Reform War, and then returned again to the Church by agreement of Porfirio Díaz.

In 1979 it received the visit of the Catholic pontiff John Paul II, and was later declared —along with the entire Historic Center of Oaxaca— a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

PrintING and Framing

The images are printed on archival museum-quality 260gsm Lustre paper which is a middle ground between Matte & Gloss so the print colours are vibrant but with less glare.

The paper is perfect for fine art, designed to last for years without losing its original beauty.

Framing is done using high quality 30mm Wood Frames (Black or White) a White Acid Free Mat Board & Glass.

A Wire Hangwire is attached to the back so you all you have to do is choose the position and hang the print.

Customised Framing

We offer Black or White frames as standard however we can also supply different coloured frames if required, The same applies to larger or specific frame sizes. contact us on support@roguesgallery.co.nz for more information on customised framing.
