Advertisement for Cirio Tomato Sauce (1921) by Leonetto Cappiello is considered to be the "Father of the Modern Advertising Poster". He was Italian but spent much of his time in Paris and had no formal art training.
Cappiello began his artistic career as a caricature artist by illustrating for French journals and was inspired by the works of Henri Toulouse-Lautrec.
Advertising posters were a major form of communication during Cappiello’s lifetime, and he succeeded in reimaging the poster concept to engage audiences with bold experimentation and new graphical styles.

The images are printed on archival museum-quality 260gsm Lustre paper which is a middle ground between Matte & Gloss so the print colours are vibrant but with less glare.
The paper is perfect for fine art, designed to last for years without losing its original beauty.
Framing is done using high quality 30mm Wood Frames (Black or White) a White Acid Free Mat Board & Glass.
A Wire Hangwire is attached to the back so you all you have to do is choose the position and hang the print.
