Marfa Architectural Land Art Project

Marfa, Texas is known for the ‘New York chic’ meets ‘cowboy cool’ art scene that has been noted globally. In 2005, the artists Elmgreen and Dragset came to Marfa to create their hyper-commercialism vision, a free standing Prada store in the middle of nowhere. The “artscape” with minimal materials was built, then the door was sealed shut. 

The artists described the work as a "pop architectural land art project."

The images are printed on archival museum-quality 260gsm Lustre paper which is a middle ground between Matte & Gloss so the print colours are vibrant but with less glare.

The paper is perfect for fine art, designed to last for years without losing its original beauty.

Framing is done using high quality 30mm Wood Frames (Black or White) a White Acid Free Mat Board & Glass.

A Wire Hangwire is attached to the back so you all you have to do is choose the position and hang the print.
