Roland Garros Tennis Poster (2020)

For the last 40 years now, the French Tennis Federation has appointed an artist to create a poster for the Roland-Garros tournament.

The French Tennis Federation believes that there is a very strong link between sport and culture, between sport-related emotion and artistic emotion, between sporting body language and cultural expression. Sport, just like culture, evokes the strongest emotions when the codes of the sporting aesthetic are broken down and reinvented." 

The 2020 Poster was created by the artist Pierre Seinturier.

The images are printed on archival museum-quality 260gsm Lustre paper which is a middle ground between Matte & Gloss so the print colours are vibrant but with less glare.

The paper is perfect for fine art, designed to last for years without losing its original beauty.

Framing is done using high quality 30mm Wood Frames (Black or White) a White Acid Free Mat Board & Glass.

A Wire Hangwire is attached to the back so you all you have to do is choose the position and hang the print.
