Roland Garros Tennis Poster (1984)

Since 1980, the French Tennis Federation and the Galerie Lelong have commissioned an artist each year to create a poster to promote the French Open.

In 1984, Gilles Aillaud designed the fifth and arguably most famous advertising poster for Roland Garros.

The images are printed on archival museum-quality 260gsm Lustre paper which is a middle ground between Matte & Gloss so the print colours are vibrant but with less glare.

The paper is perfect for fine art, designed to last for years without losing its original beauty.

Framing is done using high quality 30mm Wood Frames (Black or White) a White Acid Free Mat Board & Glass.

A Wire Hangwire is attached to the back so you all you have to do is choose the position and hang the print.
