Stevie Nicks in character as Rhiannon, the mythical Welsh White Witch she sings about in the band’s hit “Rhiannon.”
One of Fleetwood Mac’s most enduring hits, Stevie Nicks used to introduce “Rhiannon” by saying: “This song’s about an old Welsh witch.”
During her heyday, Nicks performed the song with such passion and intensity that Mick Fleetwood referred to it as “like an exorcism.” Nicks wrote Rhiannon on the piano and had some help from then-boyfriend Lindsey Buckingham.
Nicks came across the Rhiannon character from a 1972 novel by Mary Bartlet Leader titled “Triad”.
She recalls, “It was just a stupid little paperback that I found somewhere at somebody’s house. And it was all about this girl who becomes possessed by a spirit named Rhiannon. I read the book, but I was so taken with that name that I thought: ‘I’ve got to write something about this.’ So I sat down at the piano and started this song about a woman that was all involved with these birds and magic.”
“Rhiannon” influenced Nicks’ fashion especially with the flowing shawls and black outfits she wore on stage.
PRINTING AND FRAMING

Print:
we use museum-quality 260GSM Lustre Paper combined with fade-resistant archival inks. Lustre Paper is a high-quality semi-gloss photo paper that balances the best qualities of gloss and matte finishes.
This means the print colours are very vibrant but with-out the reflective glare of a full Gloss Print. This paper is perfect art reproduction and in particular photographic prints.
Frame:
we use 30mm gallery quality Wood Frames with a flat (non-bevelled) profile which frames the artwork with a clean modern aesthetic. This style of frame also works well with a Mat Board which we use on all of our Framed Prints.
Our Prints are Mounted to the Backing Board: we directly mount all of our prints to the backing board which ensures the prints remain flat and smooth over time. Prints that are not mounted to the backing board will become wavy, and buckled over time.
Mat Board: we use a quality Acid-Free Colourfast White Mat Board which creates a professional, clean boarder around the artwork. This ensures the art-work pops and directs the viewers focus to the image. It also prevents the print from touching the glass which avoids moisture build-up that causes sticking and print deterioration.
Glass:
We use 2mm Scratch Resistant Glass which provides true-to-colour, distortion-free viewing which is easy to maintain as it can be cleaned using regular glass cleaners with-out the worry of scratches.
Back of the Frame
Backing Board: we use an acid-free foam Backing Board which prevents the prints yellowing over time and ensures the print remains in excellent condition. It also resists Moisture and Mold keeping the art-work safe in humid conditions.
Wire Hang-wire: distributes the weight evenly across the frame reducing the risk of damage or warping in addition to providing flexibility by allowing for repositioning of the frame after hanging with-out having to make new holes in the wall.
