About the print

Description

In a city built on the sea, the most important street isn’t a street at all, it’s a Canal. The Grand Canal in Venice is the city’s main artery, a two-mile, s-shaped curve of water lined with some of Venice’s most important buildings and jam packed with private boats, vaporetto, and barges. The palaces, museums and warehouses that line the Grand Canal were once the abodes of some of Venice’s most prominent mercantile families and trading corporations. The 16ft-deep Venice Grand Canal – known by locals as the Canalazzo – has over 170 buildings built along its two-and-a-half mile length, many of them grand palazzos. The majority of these buildings were built between the 13th and 18th century and most open directly onto the canal, making their fronts accessible only by boat.

PrintING and Framing

The images are printed on archival museum-quality 260gsm Lustre paper which is a middle ground between Matte & Gloss so the print colours are vibrant but with less glare.

The paper is perfect for fine art, designed to last for years without losing its original beauty.

Framing is done using high quality 30mm Wood Frames (Black or White) a White Acid Free Mat Board & Glass.

A Wire Hangwire is attached to the back so you all you have to do is choose the position and hang the print.

Customised Framing

We offer Black or White frames as standard however we can also supply different coloured frames if required, The same applies to larger or specific frame sizes. contact us on support@roguesgallery.co.nz for more information on customised framing.
